The Prince and the Pauper

We are in the 16th century England. Two identical boys. Edward and Tom, are born in London on the same day. Edward is the crown prince and Tom is a pauper. Having grown up in their particular environments they happen to meet one day and, fascinated by their close resemblance, they become friends. As they grow fond of each other and learn more about their lives, they decide to temporarily change their roles. What lies ahead will change their lives for ever.
